Saturday 12th September 2009
Defoe first goal in 1st minute, probably just about 50 second right after the game started. Nice overhead kick.
Giggs's second goal. Nice free kick. I was thought Rooney is the one who take the freekick, but Giggs gave us a surprise.
Anderson's 2nd goal for Manchester United.
Rooney scores again! Both England strikers Rooney and Defoe score.
Manchester United won the game nicely but unfortunately Paul Scholes was sent out in the second half.
Goal Scorer: Defoe, 1 (Tottenham)
Giggs, 24 (Mancherster United)

* below 2 goals are not listed here
Jermaine Defoe and Wayne Rooney scores 4 goals in 4 games, while Adebayor scores 3 times in 3 games. Very amazing that Rooney and Adebayor scored in every game they played up to date. Extra credit should be given to Adebayor, as he just joined Manchester City this summer and combined with the team well and fast, in return he scored 3 times.
For the top four team (Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea), i think Arsenal is the most unhealthy team as their striker is not listed in the top scorer table. Rooney (Man Utd, 4 goals), Torres (Liverpool, 3 goals), Drogba (Chelsea, 3 goals), Anelka (Chelsea, 2 goals) are among the top strikers and got very impress goal in just 3-4 games. While for Arsenal, both Diaby and Fabregas scores 2 goals, is not a real striker. In their last game in August with Man Utd, without Fabregas, Ashavin able to score a goal. Arsenal should change their way to play, should reduce the impact of Fabregas in team, would be benefit them.
League Table As At 310809
League Table As At 31/8/2009
With defending champion Manchester United, and Arsenal with 1 defeat in 4 games, Liverpool 2 defeats in 4 games, Chelsea is sit on top of table comfortably, with 4 wins 12 points.
Tottenham is next to Chelsea, 4 wins in 4 games, collect 12 points as Chelsea, with lower goal difference.
Besides, Manchester City is having a good start this year. They also won all the 3 games but their attacking may need to get more improve, because they got only 4 goals in 3 games.
The most disappointment team may be Everton, 2 defeat in 3 games. A lot of people thought they are one of the team which will challenging most to the top four team, but they already had 2 defeats on hand. Moyes may need to think a way to improve the team performance. And so to be Liverpool's Benitez (2 defeats in 4 games).
In summary, if Chelsea would stand themselves unbeat in September, others would find it very hard to get over them, as their playing style, players' form, couch's strategies are really really well. There are too much uncertainties in other team, for example like Man Utd is too depending on Rooney and midfielders' performance is not so consistent, Arsenal team is a bit young and unexperience, Liverpool's over depend on Gerrard and Torres, Manchester City most concern is how good is Tevez and Adebayor combine? How long can they maintain good form?
Let's see what happen in this month? I guess it would be a great season for everyone!!

Saturday 22nd August 2009
Wigan Athletic 0-5 Manchester United
A great game by Manchester United, and i think Paul Scholes played an very important role in the game. He is the most experience player on the field, and he passed very well, and of course, including the assist for Berbatov's goal in 58 min.
Rooney as the main striker, accomplished his task to scored 2 goal, replaced by Michael Owen in the 72nd min. Owen had scored his first goal in EPL for Manchester United also in 85th min. Nani has scored also on his second free kick in 90th min.
Congratulation to MU to their 2nd win in 3 games, but i hope Sir Alex Ferguson does not forget to improve the defender because in fact Wigan had threaten MU goal for few times.

Arsenal 4-1 Portsmouth
Second big win from Arsenal. Really amazing. Even though there is no big star in the team but the young team has showed the world that how a football team should play, by putting a lot of teamwork and of course skills, to beat another team in a great way. They are the most threaten team to Manchester United, if Manchester United would want to defence their champion in EPL.
